KATY VETERANS MUSEUM

Our museum has memorabilia that dates from the American Revolution to most recent war on terrorism.  We currently have 2 rooms filled, to the brim, with many finds and contributions, including a submarine klaxon

Our hours are Monday Through Friday from 10-2 & 1st Saturday of the month 9-2 with the exception of holidays.  Days & times are subject to change. Calling (281) 391-8387 prior to visit is suggested.  For groups, you can book a tour using our Reservation Form.

Although the internet has reduced the use of libraries, by school students, we have a library that offers a wide selection of books and videos that center on the wars the U.S.A. has been involved in and they are available for use by everyone.

On April 18, 2016 the entire Houston area, including Katy was inundated by a flood of epic proportions, known as the Tax Day Flood.  The result was massive damage to the entire post, including our museum.  After a year of reconstruction, the post was ready to be inhabitable and, on the weekend before we started moving back in, we were again flooded by Hurricane Harvey on August 24, 2017.

We were finally able to move back in and held a Grand Opening on May 17, 2018.

We are also attempting to collect recorded memories of veterans.
